My Undergrad Experience –

  • It all started in Chicago…New Experiences, New Goals
My journey to the U.S. began in Chicago. The energy, culture, and opportunity I experienced during this visit prompted me to think boldly about my future in technology and inspired me to explore other vibrant cities in the United States. Possibilities abound in this remarkable country and I am eager to explore.
  • Building Connections: IPOP days
The International Pre-Orientation Program (IPOP) served as an instrumental rite of passage for me as I transitioned to Grinnell. It was the first time when I was meeting people from across the globe. This memory-making experience contributed to the foundation of my Grinnell experience and instilled in me the responsibility of helping future international students with their own transitions into college.
  • Identity, Inclusion & Cultural Traditions
Approximately 20% of the students who attend Grinnell College come come from countries outside the United States. Through this experience, I have thoroughly enjoyed learning about others’ cultures.
  • Student Programming Coordinators
As a student programming coordinator at Grinnell College, I organized several all campus events throughout the year to help engage the community and create a vibrant atmosphere across the campus.
  • Class Ambassador 2025
The last semester of the second year and the third year at Grinnell are considered the most difficult period in college by many. So, the class ambassadors have to work with the Department of Development and Alumni Relations, Department of Academic Advising, and the senior class ambassadors for supporting the students in our year and getting to know all better!
  • Collaborative Leadership: SASO Cabinet Member
The South Asian community is one of the largest and most cohesive communities at Grinnell. Despite the cross-border differences in the South Asian region, we at SASO embrace and celebrate each other’s cultures and festivals. The diverse SASO cabinet, working together for the entire South Asian community, exemplifies our unity. The experiences I gained helped me in developing a more mindful and inclusive approach to working with people from different cultures.
